Ins and Outs

Sorry all for the late post, but welcome to my first edition of Ins and Outs since returning to the blog! It's been a crazy month for both myself and the rest of the world. Here are just a few of my ins and outs!
Ins
The Love Island Producers.
Now, normally I only have complaints when it comes to Love Island production. However, this time I just have to give the producers a huge thank you. From the bottom of my cold heart, thank you so very much for giving us Nicolandria. I know it was just one episode, but it was the single best episode of Season 7. Y'all put everything you had into forcing Nic and Olandria to realize their connection, and it was pure cinema. So thank you for doing your big one. It has not gone unnoticed.
Having a Crush.
The girls (and when I say girls I mean girls, gays, and theys) know just how nice it is to have a crush. Nothing serious, just someone to think about. Well, I'm excited to announce that I have a big fat lesbian crush! No, I will not be elaborating further, but it has been so long since I've experienced this kind of giddiness (and a tad bit of yearning). I have to say it feels nice to smile at the thought of someone. I don't even need things to go further (that's a lie). I'm just grateful for the experience!
Everything Blueberry.
So, as some of you know, I always have a summer flavor hyperfixation. Last year, it I was utterly obsessed with everything coconut-flavored. And while I still have an affinity for coconut, I have been on a blueberry kick! I have always loved blueberries, but my fixation has reached another level. If I can get it blueberry-flavored, from coffee to ice cream, I must have it. And frankly, I'm not mad about it at all!
Standing Up For What You Believe In!
In this world, we are seeing so many lives being destroyed in our country and abroad. Now is the time to stand up and do something about it! Take a stand against those who are making it their mission to oppress us all! Donate to a worthy cause. Attend a protest. Don't just sit on your butt and post on social media (I understand visibility is important, but action is more important)! And shout out to all of the people who attended the ICE protest and the No Kings Day protests! It is so important to show up and show out for impactful events such as these. Remember this is our right and our country! We are doing a disservice to it and ourselves if we don't do anything!
Outs
Trump's Domestic and International Attacks.
I know we all know about Trump's attacks on US soil and in Iran. However, I just wanted to publicly (lol like I have any influence) express my disappointment and outrage for the abombidable actions of our current presidential administration. To conduct mass and unconstitutional deportations of both legal and illegal citizens is diabolical and just plain inhumane. Everyone just wants to live a better life. I mean isn't that why we all live in the United States? And to bomb Iran for basically no reason and without the green light from Congress is again unconstitutional. What about all of the innocent lives caught in the crossfire? Shame on the Trump administration and those who still support him.
The Ungodly Hot Weather.
I don't know about the rest of the country, but it is hot as hell in New Jersey. Like record-breaking temperatures kind of hot. And while I am all for the summer weather, I am not about this kind of heat. I don't even want to step foot outside! What's worse than the heat is the humidity. I'm sick of it! Ms. Mother Nature, please bring back the cooler weather! I'm on my knees begging!
Being a Corporate Girly.
When I signed up to be a corporate girly, I was only looking to wear cute outfits and vibe with my coworkers. In other words, I was meant to be the personality hire. How, I'm an absolute workhorse, slaving away and taking care of other people's problems from nine to five. It's honestly so depressing. My potential is being wasted! I mean I guess I'm learning a lot and it's invaluable experience or whatever, but I wasn't built for work! Does anyone know of someone looking for a sugar baby? Asking for a friend!
Friends That Don't Value Your Friendship.
I've had my fair share of friendships that didn't work out. However, it hurts more when the other person makes it clear that they do not value your friendship the way you thought they did. Recently, I was broken up with by someone I thought was my close friend. It really hurts to know that they never truly cared about my feelings or our friendship. But what can you do? Sometimes people aren't meant to be in your life forever. It sucks, but those that are truly in your corner will be there for you. Shout out to all of my friends near and far! I love you all so very much!
